Customer Responsibilities for Shipped Packages

We will schedule shipping based on your ability to be there the day your package arrives.  Our packages are perishable. We are not responsible for packages that expire because they weren't opened and put in the freezer in a timely manner. Or packages that are lost, stolen or expire because a customer doesn't make arrangements to receive the package we scheduled with them.

Customers are also responsible for entering the correct shipping address. We can't guarantee delivery if we don't have the right address, so please make sure that is correct before submitting your order. Shipping to apartment addresses can be a problem in some places. It's the customer's responsibility to make any special arrangements with BFF or your apartment complex before shipping and delivery.

It is the customer's responsibility to handle the meat product safely when thawing and cooking.

BFF Responsibilities for Shipped Packages

If the package arrives and it is completely thawed and warm to the touch, we want to know as soon as possible. We will work with our customers on what the next steps to resend a new shipment.

We will not issue a refund or resend orders for any complaints about packages being warm to the touch if they are received more than 24 hours after delivery. If we feel that a customer is being dishonest in this process, we reserve the right to refuse to sell this person product in the future.

We will also do our due diligence to confirm the shipping address. Should we make an error on the shipping label and enter an incorrect address, we are responsible.

Lastly, your package will include some safety instructions on how to handle meat products when thawing and cooking.

Policy for refunding non-shipping orders

If a customer is unhappy with their product, we need to be notified within 24 hours. We are happy to work with customers on next steps. If we feel that a customer is being dishonest in this process, we reserve the right to refuse to sell this person product in the future.
